Really good location with easy access to outdoor activities.
Despite the pleasant atmosphere, my experience was marred by persistent heating issues in the room was good. I found the breakfast offerings to be quite limited, lacking healthy options such as granola and low-fat yogurt. Another downside was the ski room, which failed to warm my boots during midday breaks, leaving me with cold feet for my next skiing session.

Here's why it's a mixed review
Unbeatable skiing location, just 100 meters from the slopes. Good staff makes you feel welcome.
Rooms can get unbearably hot at night,, Breakfast lacks healthy choices.

Ski vibes in Val-d'Isere ⛷️
Man, the location is just perfect-only a short stroll to the slopes! We had these lovely big rooms with balconies facing the mountains, so lekker chill after a day on the snow. The staff were awesome, really friendly and helpful, like chommies at the bar!
Just a bit warm in the rooms, had to sleep on top of the sheets.

Our family room was small and charming but well-appointed for a family of 4. Breakfast was a treat and the staff were helpful and friendly. Excellent location to lifts, shops, ski school and restaurants.

The hotel was very comfortable and convenient for ski lifts. The room was very nice. The spa was relaxing. Staff were friendly. All round it is a very good hotel. We only ate in the hotel once and prices were compatible with most restraunts and food of good quality but choice was a bit limited.
The hotel has no parking and it is necessary to use a public car park which can get very full. 4 days cost about 52 euro so plan to add this to the cost of your stay. Loading and unloading the car can be a problem as there is limited parking space outside the hotel and if the space is taken you block the road or are forced to keep going around the block until it is free.

I liked the bar it was very cosy and the decor was very nice.
Our room was a little noisy-we could hear the tv in the room next door and a lot of noise outside.

Loved the warm and cozy decor in Ormelune. The room had ample storage space and a balcony with fine mountain views. Ski locker convenience made gearing up each morning easy. The location can't be beaten since it's only a short walk to the slopes. The heating system posed a problem. Even with the radiator turned down, the room felt excessively hot. Breakfast had a decent selection but lacked healthy options like granola or low-fat yogurts. Staff were helpful, but breakfast communication was sometimes lacking, leading to delays in coffee and tea requests.

Staff were friendly and helpful.
I received a phonecall from hotel to say no room available for stay aprox 6 weeks before due to go. Eventually they said they would find room which was uncomfortably small and overall very disappointing, friends who booked at the same time and paid the same rate were given much better room.

Appreciated this fairly clean and stylish place, best staff and huge rooms. The breakfast included eggs and cheese, overall it was good. The public parking was nearby, exceptional service. Late check-out was useful.

Just an ideal choice for a transient stop in Val-d'Isere with real value for money. The facilities included a washing machine, super handy after a long day on the slopes. Make sure to enjoy the food options nearby for a good variety.
